| Jin-Yo Mok is
a multimedia artist living and working in New York.
He received his BFA and MFA from Hong-Ik University
in Seoul, Korea and continued his studies at New York
University's Interactive Telecommunications Program.
His artwork has been featured and invited from a lot
of online/offline venues over the world: Ars Electronica
Festival in Austria; Artport at Whitney Museum of America in New York; WIRED
NextFest, Chicago; PixelAche at Kiasma Museum of Contemporary
Art in Helsinki; Chelsea Art Museum in New York; FILE Media Art Festival in Sao Paolo, Brazil; the
Media City Seoul; Korea web-art festival; the Seoul
Museum of Art Netart Gallery etc. He recently received
an Individual Artist Grant from New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and an Artist Residency from the Harvestworks Media
Art Center in New York. |
